Bila dibanding dengan model Acer Aspire 5942G yang dipasarkan oleh Acer Indonesia sebelumnya, maka notebook ini kelasnya lebih rendah dari segi spesifikasi graphics dan berkurangnya konektifitas infrared dan ExpressCard/54. Dilain pihak model baru ini lebih ramping dan lebih ringan. Fitur tata suara Dolby Home Theatre melengkapi nilai jual dari notebook ini.
